Enabling Third-Party Cookies and Site Data

We only need this enabled for your account authentication to use our Automail integration.

Steps for Google Chrome

  1. Click the menu (3 dots icon on top right corner) from the top toolbar

  2. Choose Settings

  3. Click the Privacy and security tab

  4. Under “Privacy and security” select “Cookies and other site data”

  5. Under “General settings” ensure that “Block third-party cookies” is NOT selected

Steps for Firefox

  1. Click the Tools menu from the top toolbar

  2. Choose Options

  3. Click the Privacy tab

  4. Under "History" select "Use custom settings for history" from the drop-down menu beside "Firefox will"

  5. Ensure that the checkboxes for "Accept cookies from sites" and "Accept third-party cookies" are both checked

  6. Click OK

Steps for Microsoft Edge

  1. Click the menu (3 dots icon on top right corner)

  2. Choose Settings

  3. Click the Cookies and site permissions tab

  4. Under “Cookies and data stored” select “Manage and delete cookies and site data”

  5. Ensure that “Allow sites to save and read cookie data (recommended)” is toggled

  6. Ensure that “Block third-party cookies” is NOT toggled

Getting Company Credentials

Creating/Sharing a Front Token

  • Go to Settings

  • Under Company, got to Developers

  • Click the API Tokens tab under Developers

  • Click the Create API token button

Settings > Company > Developers > API Tokens
  • Configure the following settings for the token:

    • Name: Automail

    • Scopes: Shared Resources, Private Resources

  • Click the Create button to create the Front token

  • Click the Copy button beside the API token field to copy the value of the token

    • Securely send this token to Everest (e.g. paste in an email message)

Sharing the API Secret (Optional)

Only available for companies on the Growth or Scale plans in Front.

  • Go to Settings

  • Under Company, go to App store

  • Search for the Webhooks app

Settings > Company > App store > Search “webhooks”
  • Click the See details button on the Webhooks app blurb

  • Click the Enable app button

Configure app pop-up
  • In the Configure app pop-up, click the Copy button underneath the API secret field to copy the value of the API secret

    • Securely send this API secret to Everest (e.g. paste in an email message)

Enabling API Access

This step is to be done by company admins, to ensure that Automail will be able to parse emails from private inboxes for all teammates.

  • Go to Settings

  • Under Company, go to Teammates

  • Select a teammate and do the following for all the other teammates:

    • Click the Preferences tab

    • Search for “API”

    • Enable “Allow access to my individual resources via the API” if it’s not already enabled

Enabling the Automail App

  • Go to Settings

  • Under Company, go to App store

  • Search for the Everest app

Settings > Company > App store > Search “everest”
  • Click the See details button on the Everest app blurb

  • Click the Enable app button

Logging In

Pre-requisites

  • All the previous steps must be completed

  • You already have an account set up with Everest

 

From the Inbox sidebar, open the Everest integration and a login page will appear.

  • Enter in your Everest account credentials and click Log In

After successfully logging in, you will be redirected to the Automail homepage.

  • Select an email from your inbox to start using Automail to analyze your emails
